We invite you to explore the incredible world of native flora and the deep-rooted connections between First Nations peoples, the land, and the environment. 

 

As we delve into this enchanting realm, we will uncover ancient stories and traditions intricately woven into the very fabric of these native plants. The Aboriginal people have long held a profound relationship with the land and its offerings, relying on native plants for sustenance, medicinal purposes, and cultural practices that have withstood the test of time.

 

Join Mayi Harvests founder Pat Torres, a local Djugun elder of Broome, introduce you to the Kimberley's local native foods and  bush remedies.


This workshop is your key to unlocking the secrets, wisdom, and wonders encapsulated in these ancient native food treasures.

 

Our workshops are crafted to cater to your unique interests. Whether you're drawn to the enchanting world of Native Golden Wattleseed, yearning to discover the intriguing properties of Kakadu Plum (Gabiny), or curious about any other native plant species, we have a tailored experience waiting for you. 

 

Join us on this fascinating journey, where the past and present intertwine, and where the land's bountiful offerings become a gateway to a deeper understanding of Australia's First Nations peoples and the natural world we call home.

 

 

DURATION: 2-3 hour workshop

COST: $850 (This workshop is for a minimum of 10 people)

Additional People: Extra cost $85.00 per person)

TRAVEL COST: $100 per hour (outside of Broome region)

VENUE: In house or classroom

- Native food mini tasting sampler.

- Workshop materials provided.

Extras you may want to add;

- Catering can be provided Cost $15 per person

(this will include native fruit beverages, bush food tapas, small finger foods.)

To register, please take the time to fill out the information below so that we know what tour or workshop you are interested in attending.

- We will require
PAYMENT IN FULL in order to secure your booking date. An invoice will be sent via email once you have registered your interest. 

Booking are not confirmed until invoice is paid and you have received an email confirmation for your booking dates and receipt of payment


 - Please note we will require * ONE WEEK NOTICE if you need to cancel your booking. Refunds will not be issued if less than 1 week is given.
